4. Modifying your Personal Information or Deleting your Account

If you delete your account, we may retain statistics about your research portfolio and information about papers you have added to your favorites for internal use purposes only, such as for analyzing which researchers and papers are most popular and well-regarded. However, this information will not be linked to any personally identifiable information, such as your name or email address, and thus your account and content will be unrecoverable. To prevent individuals from exploiting our free trial period, we also keep a record of all past users’ email addresses, except in cases where we are prohibited from doing so by law.
5. Email from Us
We may sometimes send you administrative emails about account or service changes or about updates to our policies. You cannot opt out of these emails. We may also send you non-administrative emails, such as new product announcements, which you may opt out of by emailing info@academicsequitur.com or by clicking the “unsubscribe” link within such emails.
